The Minister will launch the State Government’s Action Plan for Planning Reform which responds to the summary of submissions received on the Modernising WA’s Planning System Green Paper. The Minister will outline the key initiatives that will bring greater clarity, consistency and efficiency to the planning system, to help create great places.
The Minister will also launch the next phase of Design WA, draft Precinct Design Policy - signalling the start of a two-month public consultation period. Precinct Design aims to achieve good design quality and transform the built environment to deliver economic, environmental, social and cultural benefits for the community.
